Three Bruin Football Games To Be Televised By Fox Sports Net
June 6, 2001
At least three of UCLA's 2001 football games will be televised by Fox Sports Net.
The Arizona State game, scheduled for Sept. 15 at the Rose Bowl, will kickoff at 7:15 p.m. and will be televised on Fox's national cable network. The Oct. 20 Homecoming contest against California will kickoff at 7:15 p.m. will also be shown nationally on Fox Sports Net.
In addition, the Bruins' Sept. 8 game at Kansas will be televised by Fox Sports Net as part of the Big 12 package. Kickoff is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. CDT (9:30 a.m. PDT).
Six of UCLA's games have already been selected for live television. Last month it was announced that the Sept. 22 home game against Ohio State (12:30 p.m.), the Oct. 27 game at Stanford (4:00 p.m.) and the Nov. 10 home game versus Oregon (4:00 p.m.) will be televised by ABC. The Ohio State game will be a national telecast while the two other games will be shown on a regional basis.
A complete pre-season UCLA television schedule should be available in late July.
