CRCA Selects 2001 All-America Rowing Team

Tulsa, Okla. -- The Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association announced today its the 2001 All-America Rowing Team Selections for Division I and Division II/III schools. The recipients of the All-America honors were selected from the five all-region first teams announced in May.

Four Trojans were originally honored on various all-region teams, including Ivelina Boteva (first team), Katrin Gleie (second team), Amelia White (second team) and Rebecca Moneymaker (third team). Of the four, Boteva was named to the CRCA All-America first team.

The All-America student-athletes were chosen based on the following criteria: Varsity Eight Record (requiring at least 75% participation in Varsity Eight races, strength of schedule, nomination rank (the rank order of nominees as chosen by the nominating coach), coaches recommendation, 2K erg score and was a member of an all-region first team.
