Pac-10 Tops All Conferences In Final Sears Directors' Cup Standings

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- Seven Pacific-10 Conference institutionsfinished the 2000-01 academic year ranked in the final Sears Directors' Cup Top15, the highest total of any conference.

The Conference of Champions� was represented by five members in theDirector' Cup Top 10, also a national high. STANFORD won one NCAA teamtitle and posted four runner-up finishes this year, winning itsunprecendented seventh consecutive Directors' Cup Championship with1,349.50 points. UCLA won four NCAA team titles and finished rightbehind the Cardinal in the Cup standings with 1,138.00 points.
