Raiders Sign Former Husky Tuiasosopo

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - Former Washington quarterback Marques Tuiasosopo hassigned a six-year contract with the Oakland Raiders.

Tuiasosopo will get $3.7 million over six seasons. He was a second-roundselection by the Raiders in April's NFL draft, taken 59th overall.

The 6-foot-2, 220-pound Tuiasosopo was a first-team All-Pac-10 selection andRose Bowl MVP last season, leading the Huskies to an 11-1 record and a 34-24Rose Bowl victory over Purdue. Washington finished with a final nationalranking of No. 3. Tuiasosopo was voted Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Year.
