EUGENE - All remaining University of Oregon single-game football tickets for the 2001 season will be placed on sale to the general public beginning at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, at the Casanova Center Ticket Office, according to Associate Athletics Director Dave Heeke.
Reserved seats remain for the Ducks' Sept. 8 non-conference home game vs. Utah while standing room-only tickets will be available for contests against Wisconsin (Sept. 1), USC (Sept. 22), Stanford (Oct. 20) and Arizona State (Nov. 3). There are no tickets remaining for Oregon's regular-season finale vs. Oregon State.
Prices for reserved seats for the Utah game are $29. Standing room-only tickets for the Wisconsin game cost $19 for adults and $9.50 for children and senior citizens, while all other available games cost $13 and $6.50, respectively. In addition to the Casanova Center Ticket Office, tickets may be purchased by phone by calling (541) 346-4461 or 1-800-WEBFOOT.
Ticket office summer hours will remain from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. through mid-August.
University of Oregon student tickets for the Wisconsin game will be available for pickup beginning Aug. 20.
Because of the unprecedented demand, Oregon was forced to curtail the sale of season tickets on May 21 after setting an all-time record for season ticket sales of 30,276. Since that time, only season-ticket holders have been allowed to purchase additional single-game tickets.
Oregon opens the 2001 season in Autzen Stadium Sept. 1 vs. Wisconsin boasting of a string of 10-consecutive sellouts.
