Cougar Swimmers Prepare For Canadian Games

PULLMAN, Wash. -- Washington State swimmers Melissa Hubley and Andree-Anne LeRoy will compete at the 2001 Canadian Games in London, Ontario, Tuesday, day four of the event.

Both competed at the Canadian Summer Nationals last week in Toronto. Hubley, who will be a junior this fall, placed eighth in the 200-meter butterfly with a time of 2:19.82. LeRoy, a sophomore this fall, finished 12th in the semifinals of the 100-meter backstroke in a time of 1:05:89.

At the Canadian Games, Hubley will compete in the 100-meter and 200-meter butterfly while LeRoy will take part in the 100-meter backstroke.
