Football Scrimmage Moved From Olympia
Aug. 24, 2001
SEATTLE - Washington's first football scrimmage of the fall has been moved from Olympia to Husky Stadium. The time of the scrimmage has also changed from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The Huskies were supposed to complete their fall camp at Evergreen State College in Olympia with the scrimmage, but several days of unusually heavy rain have left the Evergreen fields in a water-logged state. Husky Stadium's FieldTurf surface will be relatively unaffected by the rain.
The scrimmage is open to the public.
