Arizona Football Shuttle Service Starts Saturday

TUCSON, Ariz. - Sun Tran shuttle service to Arizona home football games begins this Saturday, September 22, with the UA-UNLV game. Shuttles will begin leaving at 5:00 p.m. from Hi Corbett Field, in front of the main entrance, Tucson Mall, east of American Home Furnishings, and Fry.s Shopping Center at I-19 and Irvington.
Riders can purchase passes for the remainder of the season at any of the three boarding locations. Full-fare passes are $30.00, half-fare passes are $15.00. Riders also can purchase a round-trip token for one game for $6.00, full fare, or $3.00, half fare. Half-fare season passes and half-fare round-trip tokens are available to seniors who are 65 years of age or older and to people with disabilities. Passes can be purchased prior to Saturday.s game at Sun Tran.s administrative offices, 4220 S. Park Avenue, Building #10, on any weekday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Tokens will be available for each game at the boarding locations only.
Shuttles begin leaving the boarding locations two hours before kick-off and run continuously until the beginning of the game. Passengers will arrive in front of Arizona Stadium on 6th Street. To return to their boarding locations, riders may begin boarding the buses on 6th Avenue at the start of the fourth quarter. Buses will leave as they fill.
Those football shuttle riders who purchased season passes in advance of the first game, on September 8, and were unable to use them because of the Sun Tran strike are asked to call 792-9222 to request reimbursement.

UA Parking and Transportation will still offer free parking in the Tyndall Garage for those cars with 4 or more individuals. The temporary drop off locations set-up for the first home game, when Sun Tran was on strike, are no longer in existence.
