Former UCLA Swimmer To Be Honored In Memorial Service

Andy O'Grady, a former men's swimmer and graduate assistant coach, was lost in the World Trade Center as a result of last week's tragedy. At the time, O'Grady was an employee of Sandler, O'Neill and Partners, L.P.
As a swimmer at UCLA from 1988-1991, O'Grady was a four-year letterwinner. He was also an NCAA qualifier in the 100 and 200 breaststroke his freshman, sophomore and senior years. He ranked fifth in the 100 breast and sixth in the 200 breast in the UCLA record books. For his senior year, O'Grady was voted team co-captain.
As a finale to his UCLA career, O'Grady served as a graduate assistant coach for the 1991-1992 men's swimming team.
A memorial service will be held in celebration of Andy O'Grady's life on Friday, September 28th at 6pm.
