Fox Sports Net to Televise Three Women's Basketball Games Nationally

TEMPE, Ariz. - Fox Sports Net will televise three Arizona State women's basketball games to a national cable audience during the 2001-02 season as part of the Pac-10 Conference television package.
All three televised games will come during the Pac-10 season starting with the Sunday, Dec. 23 home match-up with California at Wells Fargo Arena in Tempe. Fox Sports Net will also televise Arizona State's Saturday, Jan. 26 game at Stanford and the Saturday, Feb. 2 home game against Oregon State at Wells Fargo Arena.
ASU also has the possibility of being chosen as a wildcard selection on Saturday, Feb. 16 and Saturday, Feb. 23. The Pac-10's 18-game regular-season telecasts will then culminate with live coverage of the final three games of the first ever Pac-10 Women's Basketball Tournament, which will be held March 1-4 at Oregon's McArthur Court in Eugene, Ore. The 21-game slate marks an increase of two games from last year's television package.
Arizona State has had 46 games televised over the past four seasons including a school-record 14 broadcasts in 1997-98 and 11 in last year's Pac-10 Championship season.
