WHAT'S UP
Oregon (3-1-1, 0-0-0 Pac-10) plays host Friday to 2000 NCAA Tournament team San Diego. The match begins at 3 p.m. On Sunday, the Ducks take on Eastern Washington at 1 p.m. Oregon, on a two-match winning streak, has never won three in a row.

COACH BILL STEFFEN
Bill Steffen is in his sixth year as the Ducks' coach and has directed Oregon since the program's inaugural season in 1996. He has a 30-62-8 record in six years. In 1999, the Ducks finished with a 7-11-1 mark-the best record in school history.

SERIES VS. SAN DIEGO
The Toreros lead the series 2-0, including last year's 6-1 victory at San Diego. In that match, Oregon's Chalise Baysa scored the Ducks' lone goal from five yards out on an assist from senior Melissa Parker in the 27th minute. San Diego, led by Stephanie Barnier's two goals, outshot the Ducks 28-4. Oregon, which trailed 5-1 after the first half, allowed just one Torero goal the rest of the way. The teams first met on Sept. 19, 1998, at a tournament in Honolulu, Hawai`i, with San Diego winning 2-0.

SERIES VS. EASTERN WASHINGTON
This will be the first meeting between the Ducks and Eagles.
