Volleyball Reschedules Washington, Idaho Matches
Sept. 26, 2001
PULLMAN, Wash. -- The Washington State University volleyball matches against the University of Washington and University of Idaho have been rescheduled, according to Marcia Saneholtz, Senior Associate Athletic Director.
The Cougar-Husky contest, originally scheduled for Friday, Sept. 14, will now be played Monday, Oct. 8, with a 5 p.m. start time at WSU's Bohler Gym.
Saneholtz noted the early start time is because Washington is busing over to Pullman from Seattle and will return immediately after the match so their players do not miss another day of classes. A later date may have been available but WSU Coach Cindy Fredrick wanted to keep the match in the first half of the Pac-10 schedule.
The WSU-Idaho match, originally scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 9, will now be played Tuesday, Oct. 30, beginning at 7 p.m. in Bohler Gym.

Cougar Volleyball Road Contests on Radio
PULLMAN, Wash. -- When the Cougar volleyball team travels away from the friendly confines of Bohler Gym, local and distant fans can still keep up with the action through the WSU Volleyball Radio broadcasts.
Beginning with this weekend's matches at Oregon State and Oregon, Cougar volleyball can be heard in the Palouse area by dialing in on the radio to KRPL, 1400 AM, originating in Moscow, Idaho. These same radio broadcasts can also be heard through the internet by going to the official web site of the Washington State Athletic Department, www.wsucougars.com, and clicking on the LIVE COVERAGE box in the bottom half of the front page.
The Oregon State and Oregon matches will mark the WSU debut of radio announcer Gabe Rosenvall. Alex Webster will return for his sixth season of calling the Cougar volleyball action beginning with the Arizona and Arizona State matches Oct. 12 and 13.
