Women's Golfers Finish Tied for 15th

The UCLA women's golf team tied for 15th place at the NCAA Fall Preview, hosted by the University of Washington at Washington National Golf Course.
The tournament was shortened to 36-hole because of rain.
The Bruins' team score of 613 was tied with Stanford and Washington. They finished one shot behind New Mexico State and four behind USC.
Auburn and Texas tied for first place with two-round totals of 591, 15-over par. Tulsa was third at 592, followed by Ohio State at 594 and Michigan State at 601.
The Bruins' scores from Tuesday remained the same. Sophomores Krystal Shearer (151) and Melissa Martin (153) tied for 30th and 40th, respectively. Senior Alicia Um (154) tied for 47th, sophomore Gina Umeck (156) tied for 73rd and Saki Uechi (158) tied for 85th.
Arizona's Lorena Ochoa fired a three-under par 68 in the second round en route to a 139 total and first place. Pepperdine's Katherine Hull placed second at even-par 142.
