Volleyball Ranked In Regional Poll, National Statistics

INDIANAPOLIS - The NCAA announced the latest volleyball regional rankings and national statistics on Wednesday, and the Beavers are included in both categories.
Oregon State (9-3, 3-1 Pacific-10) checked in at No. 8 in the Pacific Region poll, which is released every other Wednesday. A total of six Pacific-10 teams are included in the 10-team poll. The Beavers made two appearances in the poll last season, checking in at No. 10 on Oct. 4 and No. 9 on October 18 before dropping out for the remainder of the season.
In the national statistical rankings, the Beavers are listed in two team categories and one individual category. OSU, which leads the Pac-10 in digs, ranks 23rd nationally with 17.90 digs per game. The Beavers are also ranked 30th for team assists, with 14.54 per game.
Individually, Michele Solomon is tied for 29th in hitting percentage. She's hitting .388 on the year, with 135 kills and 28 errors in 276 attempts.
