BERKELEY - Cal Competes At OSU Invitational
California looks to defend its 2000 Oregon State Invitational title Oct. 8-10, at Trysting Tree Golf Club, in Corvallis, Ore. Teams play 18 holes Monday through Wednesday. Tee times will be fixed for the first two rounds, and a shotgun start kicks off the final 18. Play begins from the first and 10th tees at 8:30 a.m., on Monday at Tuesday, and play starts at 9 a.m. Wednesday. Five players compete with the low four scores counting toward the team total.
2000 OSU Invitational In-Review
California took home the team title after shooting a 910, edging out San Diego State by one stroke.
Trysting Tree Golf Club, which opened in 1988, carries a 72 and plays to 6,072 yards for this week's event.
A total of 19 teams and three individuals compete this week: Arizona, Boise State, BYU, California, Eastern Washington, Idaho State, Idaho, Long Beach State, UNLV, New Mexico, Northern Arizona, Oregon State, Oregon, Portland State, Stanford, San Francisco, Washington, Washington State and Weber State. Washington's Michelle Grafos and Oregon State's Kelly Kerkvliet will play as individuals.
