Women's Golf Takes Third At OSU Shanico Invitational

Corvallis, Ore. - The Stanford women's golf team shot the lowest round on the final day of the OSU Shanico Invitational to finish just three strokes behind the leaders with an 882 for the tournament. California took top team honors shooting an 882, followed by Arizona, who also shot an 882 (the low fifth player in the third round determined the team winner).
Cardinal Kim Kouwabunpat recorded her highest collegiate finish, tying for second with a three-day total of one-under par 215 (67-72-76). Arizona's Lorena Ochoa placed first with a 10-under par 206.
Junior Kim Rowton tied her career-low round with a 68 on the final day to take fifth individually (74-74-68--216). Senior Salimah Mussani finished tied for 21st with a 227 (79-73-75) while teammate Angela Rho tied for 30th with a 230 (78-77-75). Freshman Wendra Liang tied for 52nd overall with a 236 (76-78-82).
