Stanford Stadium Has Instituted New Security Policies

Stanford, Calif. - Stanford Stadium has instituted new security policies and is encouraging patrons to allow extra time for entry into the venue. Please be aware that some additional items are now prohibited from Stanford Stadium and that all persons and packages are subject to search. Security measures will be consistently reviewed and are subject to change as conditions warrant. Please continue to check the web site for changes prior to each home game this season. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

The following items are PROHIBITED from being brought into Stanford Stadium. Security at the entry gates will conduct a bag search and refuse entry to any persons possessing restricted items. Receptacles will be available if guests would like to discard prohibited items, otherwise they may take the items back to their vehicle.

PLEASE NOTE: Coolers, backpacks and bags will no longer be accepted at the Guest Service tents.

Prohibited Items:

  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Animals (except service animals)
  • Back packs
  • Bags, totes & purses (larger than 10' x 10' x 10')
  • Balls and frisbees
  • Banners, signs and poles
  • Bicycles, roller blades and skateboards
  • Glass containers or cans of any kind
  • Horns and any artificial nose makers (Pac-10 Conference rule)
  • Lawn furniture / Picnic baskets
  • Strollers
  • Weapons and any dangerous items
  • Distribution of any unauthorized material is prohibited
  • Smoking is permitted only at the outer concourse at the bottom of the stairs.

    Suggested Permitted Items:

  • Small purses (10' x 10' x 10' or smaller)
  • Small diaper bags
  • Small fanny packs
  • Clear, 'Ziploc'-type bags (1 gallon size or smaller)
  • Food or non-alcoholic beverages (20 oz. or smaller in plastic container) not in bag or cooler
  • Blankets without bags
  • Seat cushions without bags
