Los Angeles, Calif. (Oct. 12) -- The University of Arizona women's soccer team (3-6-1, 0-1-0 Pac-10) fell to second-ranked UCLA, 2-0, in their Pac-10 opener in Los Angeles on Friday night. The win moves the undefeated Bruins to 10-0-0 on the year and 1-0-0 in Pac-10 play.
The two teams played to a scoreless tie at halftime, with the Wildcats holding the Bruins to only three first-half shots. UCLA's Mary-Frances Monroe ended the stalemate with her goal at 57:48, then Stephanie Rigamat iced the win at 60:41.
