EnterEric's Chat Room

Welcome to ESPN.com's moderated chat room. On Wednesday, Stanford lineman Eric Heitmann hits the chat to talk about the Cardinal football team, who have started the season 4-1.

Heitmann, senior from Katy, Texas, is currently on the Lombardi Award Watch List for the best lineman in college football. Heitmann is one of three players on the offensive line who have been in the starting lineup for the past three years- having played in all 39 games of his career and started the last 28. An honors candidate in 2001, Heitmann was an honorable mention All-Pac-10 player in 1999 and Second-Team All-Pac-10 selection in 2000. The leader of the Cardinal's offensive line, he has been the team's starter at right guard the past two years.

Heitmann was a consensus preseason First-Team All-Pac-10 selection and a First-Team All-America choice by Athlon's and Preview Sports. Street & Smith's named Heitmann as the No. 6 offensive guard in the country.

The Cardinal, coming off a 49-42 upset of Oregon last week, will look to keep it going this weekend at home against UCLA at 12:30 p.m. PT on Saturday.

Heitmann won't hit chat until Wednesday at 9 a.m. PT. Feel free to drop him some questions now and we'll save them for his arrival.
