Men's Golf Through Two Rounds Of Aztec Invitational

LAKESIDE, Calif. - Following are results through two rounds of the Aztec Invitational at the par 72, 7,088 yard Barona Creek Golf Club.
Sophomore Ryan Camp (Spokane, Wash.) fired a career best 66 in the opening round of the tournament. Camp's effort was the lowest first round score in the 85-man field and was just one shy of the WSU record for lowest single round score. Through two rounds of the 54-hole event, Camp sits in a tie for 14th at five under par (139), three shots back of tournament leader Nick Watney of Fresno State (69-67 - 136, -8). Camp is among a tightly bunched field of 17 that are within three shots of the lead.
All five Cougars - Camp, Dustin White, Jon Reehoorn, Jeremy Taylor and Isaac Woods - head into Tuesday's final round under par. White is tied for 22nd at 141 (-3) while the trio of Reehoorn, Taylor and White are tied for 35th at one under par 143.
With a two round total of 561, the Cougars are amongst a group of five teams that are within 10 shots of tournament leader and host San Diego State (551). The teams that hold the top six positions after two rounds are all ranked within the top 40 of the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings.
