Women's Divers Complete Day Two At The Trojan Invite

Los Angeles, Calif. - Stanford placed five of the top seven divers in the women's 3-meter finals during the second day of the Trojan Diving Invite at McDonald's Swim Center on Friday. Kim Powers (3rd, 476.30) was the top Cardinal diver, followed by McKenze Murphy (4th, 472.45), Erica Sorgi (5th, 459.90), Alexis Sowa (6th, 455.85) and Ashlee Rosenthal (7th, 437.60). Lauren Donovan (11th, 424.85 prelims) also competed for the Cardinal.
USC divers captured the top two spots in with Blythe Hartley (527.70) winning the event and Nicci Fusaro (494.35) finishing second.
The Trojan Diving Invite concludes on Saturday with the platform competition (10:00 a.m.).
