Bowles and Selsor Named All-Pac-10 in Women's Volleyball

WALNUT CREEK, CA - Five UCLA women's volleyball players were named to All-Pac-10 teams, it was announced on Tuesday.

Seniors Ashley Bowles and Erika Selsor were both named first-team All-Pac-10. It was the fourth career honor for Bowles and the third career honor for Selsor. Junior outside hitter Lauren Fendrick earned honorable mention All-Pac-10 honors.

Middle blocker Brynn Murphy and defensive specialist Chrissie Zartman were both named to the Pac-10's All-Freshman team.

Stanford swept the conference individual honors, as Logan Tom was named the Pac-10 Player of the Year, Ogonna Nnamani was named the Freshman of the Year, and head coach John Dunning was named the Coach of the Year.

UCLA (17-8, 11-6 Pac-10) concludes its regular season schedule on Tuesday night at Oregon, and will await the announcement of the 2001 NCAA Tournament field on Monday, November 26 at noon Pacific Time.
