Three Volleyball Players Named To All-Pacific-10 Teams

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Three Oregon State volleyball players were among those honored on the 2001 All-Pacific-10 Volleyball Team, which the league announced Tuesday.
Schmidt leads OSU with 360 kills and 319 digs, ranking third in the league for digs (3.32 dpg) and ninth for kills (3.75 kpg). She has had double-figure kills in 21 of 26 matches, with 10 or more digs in 18 matches for 17 double-doubles on the year.
Collins has 1164 assists so far this season, which ranks eighth on OSU's single-season assists list. She ranks fifth in the Pac-10 for assists average (12.25 apg). Collins was named Pac-10 Player of the Week on October 1, and she holds the highest single-match assists total by a Pac-10 player this season with a career-high 75 at Washington on October 26.
Lawrence has averaged 1.98 kills per game (87 total) and 0.66 digs per game (29 total) as a true freshman. She has had double-figure kills twice, including a career-high 12 at Idaho State.
