ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Anthony Glover scored 12 of his 16 points in the second half, including a pair of late free throws, and St. John's came back to beat Oregon State 66-63 Friday night in the consolation bracket of the Great Alaska Shootout.

Glover also had 10 rebounds, and Marcus Hatten had 11 points and seven assists for St. John's (2-1), which will play Tennessee for fifth place in the tournament on Saturday.

Adam Masten and Philip Ricci each scored 15 points for the Oregon State (1-2).

The Beavers built a 39-26 lead with two minutes gone in the second half when a technical foul was called on the Oregon State bench. Hatten hit both free throws, and started a 22-7 run that gave the Red Storm a 48-46 lead.

With 20 seconds left, Glover hit two free throws to put the Red Storm up 65-60. Masten drove the lane and scored four seconds later, and when the Red Storm couldn't inbound the ball, the Beavers had a chance to tie.

Masten had a clear look, but missed a 3-pointer. Then, Eric King was fouled and hit one free throw to put St. John's up 66-62. Jimmie Haywood was fouled on a 3-point attempt with one second left but hit just one free throw for Oregon State.

The Red Storm outrebounded Oregon State 42-24.
