Trojans Topple No. 12 Florida, 71-68

ST. THOMAS, Virgin Islands (AP) - Aisha Hollans had 29 points and ninerebounds Saturday to lead Southern California to a 71-68 upset of 12th-rankedFlorida in the Paradise Jam tournament.

The Gators had a chance to force overtime, but Brandi McClain's 3-pointermissed at the buzzer.

Ebony Hoffman added 10 points for USC (2-2), which will play Texas in thetournament championship game Sunday. Texas beat No. 23 Wisconsin 75-70Saturday.

Monique Cardenas scored 18 points, while Vanessa Hayden had 15 points andnine rebounds for Florida (2-1), which faces Wisconsin in Sunday's consolationgame.

USC outrebounded Florida 43-36, and the Gators were hurt by poor foulshooting. Florida went 18-for-32 at the line.

'We lost because we can't rebound. We're not a good team. We need to committo playing 40 minutes,' Florida coach Carol Ross said.

USC led 40-33 at halftime.
