Women's, Men's Swimming At Texas Invitational

LOS ANGELES -USC's No. 3 women's swim team and its No. 4 men's swim team will join a handful of the nation's top programs this weekend when they compete at the 2001 Texas Invitational on the Longhorn campus in Austin Friday through Sunday (Nov. 30-Dec. 2).
The men's and women's programs that will competing are Arizona, Arizona State, Auburn, California, Harvard, Michigan, USC, SMU, Texas, TCU, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Stanford, Rice and Texas.
Prelims begin at 10 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and finals begin at 6 p.m. both days. Starting times switch to 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Sunday. All times are CST.
Junior Michala Kwasny is USC's only swimmer thus far to post an NCAA automatic qualifying time, a 1:58.25 in the 200y fly. She's also got consideration times in the 200y breast and the 200y IM. Freshman Kaitlin Sandeno has consideration marks in the 200y and 500y free, the 200y back and the 400y IM. Sophomore Jana Krohn has posted consideration times in both fly events and senior Katie Meyer has consideration times in both back events.
Junior Erik Vendt has a trio of consideration times in the 400y IM, 1650y free and the 200y breast. Senior Tamas Kerekjarto has consideration times in both IM events and the 200y fly while sophomore Klete Keller has consideration times in the 200y and 500y free.
