Bruins win Pac-10 title, five teams earn NCAA bids

UCLA fell one win short of making its second straight trip to the NCAA College Cup ... With 20 wins the Bruins set the school single-season record in victories ... Five Pac-10 teams advanced to the NCAA Tournament: CALIFORNIA, STANFORD, UCLA, USC, and WASHINGTON ... All teams were repeat invitees from the 2000 NCAA Tournament ... Washington's Hope Solo earned Pac-10 Player of the Year honors, while USC's Megan Kakadelas was named Freshman of the Year ... Stanford's Andy Nelson picked up Conference Coach of the Year honors.
