Men's Tennis Sign James Pade To National Letter-Of-Intent

STANFORD, Calif. - The Stanford University men's tennis program has signed James Pade (Woodside, CA/Menlo School) to a National Letter-of-Intent beginning with the 2002-03 school year.

'James is among the top five players in his age group in the United States,' Stanford Director of Men's Tennis Dick Gould said. 'We are delighted to have a person of his abilities and personal character join our program here at Stanford. He is another in the long line of top local players who have helped us maintain our outstanding tennis tradition.'

The Stanford men's tennis program has won a record 17 NCAA Team Championships, including five in the last seven years. The Cardinal has also produced 13 NCAA Singles Champions and 13 NCAA Doubles Champions.
