Tommy Smith scored 16 to pace the Sun Devils (5-3 overall, 0-1 Pac-10), whohad their four-game winning streak ended, and Curtis Millage added 15 points.
Jones, who returned to the starting lineup after two games spent in areserve role, kept Oregon in the game early with 15 first-half points, whileJackson scored 18 of his points in the second half as the Ducks (7-3, 1-0) blewopen a game that was tied 52-52 after the first two minutes of the half.
A jump shot by Jackson at 17:42 gave Oregon the lead for good at 54-52 andsent the Ducks on a 14-0 run that ended with a 3-pointer by Jackson for a 68-52advantage.
The Sun Devils briefly narrowed the gap to 71-60 before Jackson againsparked an Oregon run with a jump shot as the Ducks scored 12 unanswered, eightcoming at the foul line, as they took an 83-60 lead with 10:20 left to play.
As a team, Oregon made 57 percent of its shots from the field and 35-of-39free throw attempts, including a perfect 14-for-14 by Jones. The Ducks also andoutrebounded Arizona State 31-24.
The Sun Devils went blow-for-blow with the Ducks in the first half andconverted 52 percent of their attempts overall, including 10-of-19 from the3-point line. But they also had 20 turnovers, 14 in the second half.
Oregon scored on nine straight possessions early in the first half as itbuilt a 24-19 lead seven minutes into the game. A minute later, the Ducks tookoff on a 6-0 run to go up 29-22 at the 10:36 mark.
But Arizona State made three 3-pointers during a 13-4 run to take a 35-33lead with 6:12 to play in the half.
Jones tied it with a pair of free throws and scored eight of the Ducks final15 points of the first half as Oregon took a 48-45 edge into the break.
