Men's Soccer Announces Schedule For 2002

The Oregon State men's soccer program has announced its schedule for the 2002 season. The Beavers are set to play 19 games in 2002, and will host the fourth annual OSU/Diadora Classic in September.
OSU will play 10 Pacific-10 Conference matches next year, as Fresno State joins Pac-10 members Oregon State, Washington, Stanford, California and UCLA to round out one of the toughest conferences in the nation. The Beavs will play each Pac-10 school once at home and once away when conference competition starts on Oct. 11, when the Beavs kick off a three-game road trip at California.
OSU plays nine home matches in the confines of Lorenz Field at Valley Stadium, OSU hosts Cal-Riverside and Tulsa in the Diadora Classic on Sept. 13 and 15, as well as non-league foes Portland and St. Mary's on Oct. 2 and 6. OSU's remaining non-league tilts are at Wisconsin, Air Force, Marist, Siena and the University of Albany.
