Stanford, Calif.- On Wednesday at 11:30 am, PT, Stanford forward Lindsey Yamasaki will hit the chat room to talk about Cardinal women's basketball.
Yamasaki is one of the most prolific scorers in Stanford history. She became just the 22nd player in Stanford history to score 1,000 career points earlier this season and has since moved into a tie for 13th on the all-time scoring list with 1,360 points. The senior from Oregon City, Oregon also ranks fifth in Stanford history in career 3-pointers (173) and 12th in career points per game (12.4).
Yamasaki leads the Cardinal in scoring this season at 16.6 points per game, and is also averaging 4.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists. She ranks sixth in the Pac-10 in both scoring and 3-point field goals per game (1.72) and is ninth in field goal percentage (47.1).
Yamasaki, and the rest of Stanford's five-player senior class, play the final regular season home games of their career this weekend against Washington and Washington State. The Cardinal has already clinched at least a tie for its 11th conference title in the last 16 years, and can clinch the top seed in the inaugural Pac-10 Tournament with one more win.
Yamasaki won't hit the chat room until Wednesday at 11:30 a.m., ET. Feel free to drop her some questions now and we'll save them for her arrival.
