Men's Tennis falls to #5 UCLA

TEMPE, Ariz. - The Arizona State men's tennis team (3-1) was defeated by the fifth ranked UCLA Bruins this afternoon at the Whiteman Tennis Center by the score of 6-1.

The Bruins took the first two doubles matches to earn the doubles point. The Sun Devil duo of Olivier Charroin and Chris Stewart posted the only Sun Devil victory in doubles play, winning 8-6 over Rodrido Grilli and Alberto Francis.

Pim Van Mele lead the Sun Devils in singles action, posting a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Julien Rojer. The Bruins were paced by Lassi Ketola, who defeated Chris Stewart 6-1, 6-1.

Up next, Arizona State will continue its home stand with a match against USC tomorrow, February 23, at the Whiteman Tennis Center at Noon.
