Women's Golf Heads To Arizona For Wildcat Invitational

TEEING OFF: The women's golf team opens its spring season at the Wildcat Invitational, hosted by the University of Arizona, Monday-Tuesday, Feb. 25-26. Teams are scheduled to play 36 holes on Monday and 18 Tuesday. Play will begin both days with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m.
THE COURSE: The Par 72, 6,119-yard Raven at Sabino Springs is the venue. The Raven is a hilly, target-golf style course set in the desert mountains. Due to the landscape, the NCAA will require players to use carts for the tournament.
THE FIELD: The top five and seven of the top 10 teams in the country, according to the Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index, are scheduled to compete in the Wildcat Invitational. Of the 18-team field, 10 teams that finished in the top 11 at last year's NCAA Championships will compete, and 13 teams are ranked in the top 25.
