TUCSON--Summer Richardson pitched a two-hitter and provided an insurancerun with a home run to help pace Cal State Northridge to a 3-1 victoryover Eastern Michigan in second-day action of Arizona's round-robin Worth Invitational softballtournament.

The Matadors scored an unearned run in the top of the third after atwo-out errror by EMU third baseman Liz Flack. Christen Bedwell walked,stole second and reached third on the error, then Sondra Milchiker singledthrough the left side.

CSN (9-8) went up 2-0 on Amber Copelan's RBI single in the fourth, but theEagles (1-2)answered with a run from their first hit off Matadors pitcherSummer Richardson. Christie Koester walked to open the inning, moved tosecond on a sacrifice bunt and scored on Lauren Allen's single through theleft side.

Richardson hit her third home run of the weekend, a solo shot to center,to push the lead back to two runs, 3-1.
