Jamie Schroeder Wins C.R.A.S.H.-B World Indoor Rowing Championship

Boston, Mass. - Stanford sophomore Jamie Schroeder won the C.R.A.S.H.-B World Indoor Rowing Championship in Boston this afternoon winning by the 2000-meter race in 5:50.00 and finishing nearly 10 seconds faster then the next competitor.

The Wilmette, Ill., native has only been rowing for one year and defeated rowers from all over the world. Schroeder made history today, becoming the first US rower in collegiate history to win such a prestigious event.
