Husky Women's Golfers in Sixth Place at Arizona Invitational

Tucson, AZ - The Washington women's golf team is in sixth place after the first 18 holes of play at the Arizona Invitational at the Raven Golf Course in Tucson.

Darkness caused the postponement of the final three holes of the second round, which will finish Tuesday morning. The third and final round of the tournament will also take place on Tuesday.

The Huskies shot 298 during the opening round and are just four strokes behind tournament leader Arizona.

Washington was led by sophomore Lindsay Morgan, who finished the first round tied for sixth at even-par 72. Arizona's Loren Ochoa, who is attempting to win her sixth consecutive tournament, is tied with Auburn's Courtney Swaim at 5-under 67.
