Kelsey Carlson Called Up To Women's Soccer's Under-21 National Team

Stanford, Calif. - Stanford junior Kelsey Carlson (Citrus Heights, CA) has been called up to train with the Women's Soccer's Under-21 National Team for the first time in her career. Carlson will report to camp in Chula Vista, CA, on March 15-24 to play against various WUSA teams.

Carlson, a midfielder, was sixth on the team in scoring with eight points on two goals and four assists in 2001. She scored the team's final goal in Stanford's 3-1 win over Saint Mary's in the Second Round of the Women's College Cup.

Thus far in her career, Carlson has tallied 10 goals and 15 assists for the Cardinal.
