USC Divers Go First, Second, Third At Pac-10s In 3-meter

March 1, 2002

USC's diving program made some history on Friday (March 1) as three of Troy's women's divers swept the top three spots in the 3-meter springboard for the first time at the Pacific-10 Diving Championships at Arizona.

Sophomore Nicci Fusaro won her first ever Pac-10 title with 521.10 points, barely edging out freshman teammate Blythe Hartley, who finished her dives with 520.00 points. Senior Kellie Brennan wasn't far behind either, finishing third with 512.65 points.

Hartley won the 1-meter springboard on Thursday, giving USC a sweep of the springboard events for the second consecutive year at the Pac-10 Championships. Brennan won both the 1-meter and 3-meter last year.

Sophomore Katie Case finished 21st with 375.05 points while sophomore Erin McKeon was 28th with 294.20 points.
