Women's Golf Travels to California for San Jose State Spartan Invitational

EUGENE, Ore. - The Oregon women's golf team will travel to the 54-hole Spartan Invitational for the first time, Monday - Wednesday in Monterey, California at the 6,638-yard, par-72 Corral de Tierra Country Club. Top-ranked tournament participants include: No.4 Arizona State, No.9 Oklahoma State, No.19 Pepperdine, No.16 USC, No.3 Texas and No. 18 Washington in the 16-team field.

At Oregon's last competition, the Lady Aztec Invitational, the Ducks placed 17th. Individually, senior Kathy Cho tied for 14th place, her best finish as a Duck. Cho shot 159 at the par-73 Lake San Marcos Country Club.
