The Hornets raised their record to 6-4 on the season while Cal fell to 5-6.

Freshman Adrienne Garcia shined as she scored 9.750 on the bars and 9.725 on the beam.

Sacramento State's Toni Petersen led all competitors with an all-around score of 38.200. My-Lan Dodd led the Golden Bears with a team-high 37.875 all-around and a 9.875 on floor.

Cal went shorthanded on vault (two competitors) and floor (four competitors), which led to the low team score.
