Husky Men's Golfers Head to California

Seattle - The 14th-ranked Washington men's golf team travels to the Cleveland Golf Classic on Mar. 3-4 at North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village, Calif. In addition to the Huskies and tournament host, 10th-ranked USC, the other 14 teams in the tournament are No. 9 Fresno StateNo. 17 New Mexico, No. 20 Pepperdine, Alabama-Birmingham, Arizona State, Arkansas, Brigham Young, California, Houston, Oregon, Oregon State, Stanford and UCLA.
Play begins with 36 holes on Monday, Mar. 3, beginning at 7:30 a.m. with a shotgun start and concludes on Tuesday, Mar. 4, with the final round beginning at 7:30 a.m. off the first and 10th tees.
Last year Arizona State won the Cleveland Golf Classic for the second straight year, shooting 581 in a rain-shortened tournament to finish six strokes ahead of TCU. David Yarnes of Oregon State won the individual title with a two-under-par 142.
