NIT Men's Basketball Ticket Information For Planning Purposes

In the event that the Arizona State University Men's Basketball team does not earn the automatic invitation to participate in the NCAA Tournament, the Arizona State Athletic Department hopes to be chosen as a host institution for the 2002 National Invitational Tournament. In the event that we are selected to host the National Invitational Tournament, the Sun Devil Ticket Office would like to give the Sun Devil Basketball season ticket holders, the opportunity to pre-purchase tickets for this event.

An order form for the NIT was mailed last week. In the event we are chosen as a host institution, as a season ticket holder we would like to give you the opportunity to purchase the same seats for the NIT that you have purchased for the 2002 Sun Devil Basketball Season. We would also like to invite you to purchase additional seats. Any additional seats purchased will be allocated as close to your season seats as possible. If your tickets to the 2002 season were located are in the upper level, we would also like to invite you to purchase the best available tickets in the lower level.

If you place an order for NIT tickets we ask that you please keep your season parking pass as it will be honored for all NIT Tournament play. All tickets for the NIT First Round may picked up at will call starting at 10:30 am on Monday, March 11. Will call will be located at the Sun Devil Ticket Office which is located at the south side of Sun Devil Stadium.

All order forms must be received in the Sun Devil Ticket Office no later than 5 p.m. Friday, March 8. If you fail to return this form prior to the deadline, tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis to the general public at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 11.

The Sun Devil Ticket Office encourages you to make your NIT payment by credit card. Credit card numbers will not be processed until we are confirmed as a host institution for each round. If you wish to pay by check, it is imperative to send a separate check for each game. In the event that we are not chosen as a host institution all checks will be returned via U.S. Mail.

Please note that once Arizona State University is confirmed as a host institution, no refunds or cancellations will be accepted.
