In each contest, Stanford coach Mike Montgomery cited USC's use of thefull-court press as a key factor.
'We need to attack their press better,' Montgomery said. 'They manage todisrupt our offense. They are big and strong ... we can't do anything aboutthat. USC does a good job of adjusting their press.'
Clancy paces the Trojans attack, averaging team-best totals of 19.2 pointsand 9.8 rebounds.
Ironically, USC coach Henry Bibby, who lists Jacobsen as his No. 1 focus, ischanging his once-positive stance on the Pac-10 tournament.
'Up until now, I thought it was a great idea,' Bibby said. 'But now, itcan help our chances or it can take away from our chances.'
