Men's Tennis Tops UCSB, 5-2

SANTA BARBARA,Calif. -- The Oregon men's tennis team gained another win on the road Sunday, defeating UC Santa Barbara 5-2 to increase its record to 11-2.

In singles, Oregon won four of the six matches. The entire match was clinched when sophomore Chris King defeated Santa Barbara's Marcio Pepe, 6-3,6-2 -- Oregon's fourth win of the day. Other key singles wins came from Oded Teig, Sven Swinnen and Greg Dubourdieu.

In doubles, the Ducks came away with wins in two of the three matches. The Ducks' doubles team of Swinnen and Teig was victorious against Santa Barbara's Carlos Palencia and Marcin Kosakowski, 9-8.
