Felicia Ragland Named Honorable Mention Associated Press All-American

March 15, 2002

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon State University senior guard Felicia Ragland was named to the Associated Press honorable mention All-America team earlier this week.

Ragland, a native of Tulare, CA, is the first OSU women's basketball player to receive back-to-back AP All-America honors.

Ragland currently leads the Pac-10 in scoring (20.1 ppg.) and steals (2.53 spg.). The 5-9 guard ranks second in 3-point field goals made (2.23), fifth in free throw percentage (.832) and 10th in rebounding (6.4 rpg.).

On the season, Ragland has buried 69 3-point field goals to break the Oregon State single season record and her 627 points ranks seventh on the single season charts.

Ragland is one of just three Oregon State players to score 1,600 points (1,792) and pull down 600 rebounds (725) in her career. Only OSU Hall of Famer Carol Menken and Tanya Kostic have reached that plateau.
