2001-02 OREGON STATE SEASON HIGHLIGHTS

* Oregon State's 17 wins were the most for the Beavers since finishing th e 1995-96 season with a 19-9 record

* OSU's 32 games were the most games played in a single season in school history

* With its 62-50 postseason Women's National Invitation Tournament victory against Hawai'i (3/14), Oregon State recorded its first postseason win since 1995

* Oregon State's 11-7 Pac-10 Conference record was its best since a 12-6 finish during the 1995-96 season. The 1995-96 campaign boasted OSU's most conference wins ever and marked the last time the Beavers made the NCAA Tournament

* OSU's fourth place finish in the Pac-10 was its best since 1995-96

* OSU ranks in the Top-6 in 16 of 18 Pac-10 Conference statistical categories

* According to the WBCA, Oregon State started the season with the 8th toughest schedule in the nation

* Oregon State's 61-53 victory against University of Oregon on Jan. 19 was the Beavers' first Civil War win in 12meetings. The victory was the first for OSU on McArthur court in nine years

* OSU completed its second consecutive sweep of the Arizona schools in Corvallis (1/4 & 1/6), a feat that hadn't been accomplished since the 1996-97 campaign

* Oregon State completed just its second road sweep of the Washington schools (2/21 & 2/23) since joining the Pac-10 in the 1986-87 season

* OSU's 61 rebounds against Washington State (12/28) are the most for a Pac-10 school this season. The 61 boards match the Oregon State school record for rebounds in a game, set in 1981

* Oregon State held Washington State (12/28) to a Pacific-10 Conference low of 33 points. The Beavers tied their own Pac-10 record after allowing California to score just 33 points in 2000

* Oregon State held UCLA to just 36 points, including 10 in the first half on Jan. 24. The point total was the lowest in Bruin program history, dating back to 1975

* Oregon State had an 11-2 record when scoring at least 70 points

* Oregon State is one of just three schools to beat University of New Mexico in the PIT this year. No. 11 Colorado and NCAA Tournament qualifier UNLV are the others. UNM's 16-point loss to the Beavers (77-61) was its worst this season

* Oregon State committed a season-low eight turnovers against No. 2 Stanford on Feb. 9. The total was OSU's lowest since a school record seven miscues in 1986

* Four of Oregon State's losses have came at the hands of teams ranked in the Top-10 when they met the Beavers

* Oregon State averaged 1,602 fans for the 14 regular season games in Gill Coliseum this season. The attendance mark is the highest since the 1995-96 campaign

* Oregon State lost back-to-back games on just three occasions and did not had a three-game losing streak over the course of the season (1 of 5 Pac-10 teams to accomplish this)

* Three Oregon State players garnered All-Pac-10 accolades. Felicia Ragland earned All-Pac-10 honors for the third time in her career while Leilani Estavan was named to the honorable mention squad. Juleen Smith was named to the Pac-10 All-Freshman squad

* Felicia Ragland was named a District 8 All-American for the second consecutive year and is a finalist for the prestigious Kodak All-America squad

* Felicia Ragland was named honorable mention Associated Press All-American for the second consecutive year

* Felicia Ragland is the only Pac-10 player to score 30-plus points on more than one occasion. Ragland has broken the 30-point barrier four times this year

* Felicia Ragland ranks in six Pac-10 statistical categories, leading all players in scoring (19.9 ppg.) and steals (2.47 spg.)

* Leilani Estavan has led the Pac-10 throughout the entire season in assist-turnover ratio (2.32)

* Felicia Ragland is one of just three players to earn multiple Pac-10 Player of the Week honors this year

* Senior guard Felicia Ragland ranks in the OSU career record book Top 10 in 14 different statistical categories. Fellow senior, Ericka Cook ranks in the Beaver Top 10 in five different career categories

* Felicia Ragland and Ericka Cook finish their career as the only Oregon State players to play four seasons in which the Beavers' record improved each year - 1998-99 (11 wins), 1999-00 (14 wins), 2000-01 (16 wins) and 2001-02 (17 wins)
