Rain Postpones WSU-Cal

March 24, 2002

LEWISTON, Idaho - Heavy rains Sunday forced Washington State University to postpone its scheduled Pacific-10 Conference baseball game with California until 11 a.m. Monday.

The third game in the weekend series will be played at Harris Field on the campus of Lewis-Clark State College, as were the first two games, both won by the Bears 5-1 and 5-4.

In addition, WSU will play the Washington Huskies Monday, with the Cougar-Husky match-up to begin 30 minutes after the end of the league game with California. WSU's Monday and Tuesday games with Washington do not count in the Pac-10 standings.
