Locklier Named To Pacific-10 All-Academic First Team

PULLMAN, Wash. -- Washington State's J Locklier (Rock Hill, S.C.) was named to the Pacific-10 All-Academic Men's Basketball First Team Thursday.

Locklier has a 3.68 grade point average as a graduate student in education administration. His GPA is the highest among the five first team selections and four honorable mention honorees.

He is the eighth player at WSU to earn the honor and the first since Will Hutchens in 1999.

On the court this season, Locklier closed his Washington State career by averaging 13.6 points and a team leading 6.5 rebounds per contest.

In his final collegiate game, the 6-10 center poured in 40 points in the Cougars' win over Centenary. The scoring output is the fifth best in WSU history.
