Stanford's Women's Crew Heads To Sacramento This Weekend

Opening the spring season with winning performances in all three events last weekend, Stanford's Women's Crew heads to Sacramento this weekend with hopes for a repeat. The Cardinal women have spent this week of Spring Training completing three practices per day and are ready to test their improvements in race day performances. Although Sacramento State has had mixed results in their early spring races, they will pose a significant threat to the Stanford Women as they hope to defend their home waters. As fun, hard races are expected the athletes and coaches would like to invite Cardinal fans to come to Lake Natoma and cheer on the women's team.

Races will begin at 9:00AM with the Varsity Women's Eight Event, followed by the Junior Varsity Event at 9:20AM and the Novice Eight at 9:40AM.

Racing in Stanford Varsity Eight will be: Wendy Hoeveller (cox), Sabrina Kolker (8), Melissa Huary (7), Missy Fiesler (6), Sam Magee (5), Molly Loeb (4), Marlayna Tuiasosopo (3), Claire Phillips (2), Laurie Benson (1).

Racing in Stanford's Junior Varsity Eight will be: Kelly Garneski (cox), Ashley Maloney (8), Susan BeVille (7), Megan Burritt (6), Jenny McColloch (5), Nicole Hildebrandt (4), Erin Krampetz (3), Lily Liu (2), Anjali Malhotra (1).

Racing in Stanford's Third Varsity Eight will be: Abby Levine (cox), Louisa Marion (8), Stacie Solt (7), Alicia Gutierrez (6), Alison Appling (5), Grace Bull Tail (4), Lyndsey Toeppen (3), Wei-li Chang (2), Umi Jensen (1).

Racing in Stanford's Novice Women's Eight will be: Kasey Alderete (cox), Katy Jackman (8), Marlo Driessigacker (7), Anya Byers (6), Taiwo Ajayi (5), Kenny Ajayi (4), Erin Atkinson (3), Sami Lubega (2), Sarah Field (1).
