Lindsey Yamasaki Participates In WBCA All-Star Challenge

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Stanford senior Lindsey Yamasaki (Oregon City, OR/Oregon City HS) started for the College All-Stars in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) All-Star Challenge on Saturday evening at the University of Texas-San Antonio. The event was held in conjunction with the NCAA Women's Final Four in San Antonio.

Yamasaki's College All-Stars took on the 2002 USA National Team, which featured Lisa Leslie, Sheryl Swoopes and Dawn Staley. The National Team won the contest 100-57, behind 30 points and 10 rebounds from Leslie.

Yamasaki played 18 minutes (tied for the third highest total on the team), and recorded three points and two rebounds (one offensive). She was 1-of-5 from the field overall, including 1-of-4 from 3-point range, and also had one steal and one foul.
